Mike and Kat left home on Sept.15th 2008 with their bikes and little tent. They had not a clue where they would go or how long their journey would take them. Join the two of them in their travels as they connect on the road. The only goals being to enjoy each other, meet new people and eat well. Follow along as they find the best French Fries in the world. Search with them for new roads to bike along that are hopefully off the main track, unpaved and gorgeous. Meet the wonderful, beautiful people of the world that offered them water, food, a home, laughter and hugs. Feel the frustration of a hard day away, but connect with them on the joys of the new, and the passion of travel and adventure.

Kathmandu, Nepal
A crazy, wonderful city amongst the heart of the Himalayas. Three incredible weeks of the hardest cycling of our lives across the barren landscapes of Tibet, struggling with the affects of altitude, sickness, frost and heat. The majestic Mount Everest towered over us for days till eventually we camped at her feet.
Back in China, the last couple of days riding on some non cycling back roads, the mountain views were amazing camping out at 9,000 feet. The rock garden that we were riding on did horrors to our bikes though, we had to hitchhike back to Kunming and we both needed new back rims.
New Zealand Stories are finally back on the web if you have not read them yet. Check them out HERE.
Vietnam and Cambodia stories are up now!. Go HERE. We spent nearly a week camping in a village at an orphanage. It was amazing playing with the kids and helping out digging compost toilets when we could.
Laos stories and photos are up! Look at them HERE. The ride through Laos was beautiful and challenging. It was a country in which we had to grow to love. Unfortunately on our first night in Laos, our room was broken into while we were sleeping and our laptop stolen. We are back online and the website will be worked on all night until all is restored.
